It’s becoming increasingly important in modern bathrooms to have furniture you can live with – furniture that fits in with your interior style. Belgian bathroom specialist Detremmerie knows that better than anyone. “Marble, for example, has become a staple feature of our living rooms – and now it’s the latest trend for our bathrooms”, explains CEO Koen Ducatteeuw.

The range of 210 RAL colours (in matte lacquered versions) has also been very well received – and so has the new custom bathroom configurator. This practical online tool helps you to sketch out your bathroom design exactly how you want it. It’s ideal in combination with a showroom employee. After all, the technical details (for example, planning exactly how to configure the plumbing) are best left to a specialist.

What’s more, Detremmerie is firmly breaking down the misconception that just because something looks good, it can’t be practical. The bathroom boffins are already exhibiting their elegant designs in 424 showrooms throughout the Benelux region. They’ve recently added France to their portfolio. And as this issue goes to press, a collaboration with the Dutch technical association Nederlandse Technische Unie is already reality.

Hardly surprising, then, that Detremmerie’s own factory in Beveren-Leie is also being expanded – to 2300 square metres. All in all: a Belgian success story that is sure to run and run!
