“Sharp angles are giving way to rounded curves”

What bathroom trends are we seeing in 2021?

  • People are individualising their bathrooms more and more. Bespoke washbasins, vanity units and cabinets (with and without mirrors) are being made in numerous RAL colours.
  • We are also seeing a huge variety of washbasin materials: along with the concrete trend, options like marble, ceramic marble and solid surfaces are rising in popularity. Another up-and-coming fashion is coloured glass washbasins.
  • Another trend we’ve spotted – for both furniture units and washbasins alike – is that sharp angles are giving way to rounded curves.
  • The most popular tap options are timeless white or black.

Bathrooms are getting steadily more compact, and this has to be reflected in the furniture: showers are getting bigger and bathtubs smaller.

According to you, how does the ideal bathroom look like?

"It's a place where you feel like home that is, even more important, completely adapted to your needs and wishes. Before you start setting up the bathroom, you should ask yourself some essential questions such as: "Am I a shower or a bath type of person? Do I need a lot of storage space or not?", says Koen.
